President & CEO
Barry has been with Ashton Potter since 1991, in his current position since 2001. He has been in the printing industry for over 30 years, has a degree in Economics and Accounting (University of Waterloo), serves on the Ashton Potter Board, and is an active member of the USPS Quality Supplier Council. Barry’s personal interests include travel, skiing, and golf.
Senior Vice President
Joe has been with Ashton Potter for 40 years and is responsible for Customer Contracts, Research & Development, and overall Security Operations. The Quality Assurance, Scheduling, and Customer Service departments report directly to Joe, whose education history includes George Brown Technical College and the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation. His hobbies include playing hockey, golf, and riding motorcycles.
Senior Vice President of Sales
Kelly has been with Ashton Potter since 1994, in his current position since 2003. Kelly has been in the security printing industry for over 35 years, has degrees in Economics and Political Sciences (The University of Western Ontario) and Strategic Planning (Queen’s University Executive MBA Program), and is an active member of NASPO International, Document Security Alliance, and the USPS Quality Supplier Council. Kelly’s personal interests include travel, home renovation, and hiking.
Vice President of Finance & Human Resources
Bob has been with Ashton Potter since 2003. He has been in the printing industry for over 18 years, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Niagara University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a board member for the Accounting Advisory Committee for Local Universities. Bob’s personal interests include playing ice hockey and traveling.
Chief Technology Officer
Joe joined Ashton Potter in 1995 and is responsible for plant equipment and production processes at both sites, IT infrastructure development, and technical sales. He also has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Cincinnati Technical College.
Manager of Operations
Andrew joined the Ashton Potter team in 2016. He is responsible for the Operations functions for both facilities. Andrew brings over 30 years of experience in Operations, Quality and Engineering Management. He is a proud Graduate of the University of Buffalo’s Master of Engineering program. Hobbies include cooking, anything sci-fi and collecting comic books before it was cool.
Stamp Facility Plant Manager
John has been with Ashton Potter since 1992. He has been in the printing industry for over 30 years, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Communication Technology and Design from the State University Of New York College at Buffalo, and serves on the Board of Directors for both the Chelsea Foundation, which promotes children’s literacy, and for the Centennial Art Center. John’s personal interests include travel, illustration and design, and spending time with family.
Stamped Envelope Facility Manager
Jay has been with Ashton Potter since 1997, in his current position since 2013. He has been in the printing industry for over 18 years. Prior to that, he attended SUNY Alfred State and spent four years in the United States Air Force. Jay’s personal interests include sports, travel, and architecture.
Press Room Manager
Steve has been with Ashton Potter since 1997, in his current position since 2001. He has been in the security printing industry for over 40 years. His experience includes intaglio, offset, flexography, and letterpress. Steve?s personal interests include wood carving, knife making, and bushcraft and survival.
Business Development Manager, e-Commerce
Andy received his mechanical engineering degree from Boston University and his MBA from University of Buffalo. He has a track record of applying critical thinking skills, creativity, and practical tactics to help manufacturing organizations commercialize their technologies. Andy joined the company in 2016 to build a B2B platform to market and sell Ashton Potter products online. Andy is a dedicated member of the Board at The Summit Center, a supporter of the downtown Buffalo renaissance, and enjoys skiing, biking, and travel.
Distribution & Accountability Manager
Karen has been with Ashton Potter since its inception in the US in 1992 and has worked in the printing industry for over 28 years. Karen is responsible for the accountability of all secure products and distribution of all USPS products. Karen’s personal interests include camping, biking, and swimming.
Debbie has been with Ashton Potter since 1994. She has been in her current position as Accountability, Distribution, and Customer Service Manager for Stamped Envelope Since 2008. Debbie’s personal interests include reading, walking her dog, and working in the garden.
Daryl has been with Ashton Potter since 1992, in his current position since 2004. He has over 20 years' experience in the printing industry, earning a degree in Business Management and a minor in Visual Communications/Graphic Arts. He is a key contributor to the company with customer approvals, sub-contract management, and product life cycle. Daryl’s personal interests include travel, golf, and numerous outdoor activities.
Barb has been with Ashton Potter’s Finance & Human Resources Department since 1998 and has an Associate's Degree in Business from Erie Community College. She enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Customer Service Representative
Jill has been a proud member of the Ashton Potter team since 2013. She has close to 20 years of experience in the printing industry and is a graduate of Canisius College with a BS in Management and Marketing.
Sandy Preusch, M.S.L
Sandy has more than 25 years’ experience in the printing industry. She has a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
Quality Assurance Manager
Michele has been with Ashton Potter since 2004, in her current position since 2007, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Buffalo State. Michele’s responsibilities include maintaining the Quality Management System and overseeing Quality Assurance at the Stamp and Envelope facilities. Her personal interests include fundraising, music, and family time.
Cheryl started with Ashton Potter in 1994 and has held various roles within the accounting department over the years. She has a BSBA in Accounting from West Virginia University.
Mary Beth O'Shea
Mary Beth joined the Ashton Potter team in 2006, after a 25 year career with another local company, where she has been an integral part of the Finance and Administrative departments. Mary Beth enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Human Resources Associate
Sue joined Ashton Potter’s Human Resources Department in May 2014. Prior to that, she spent 10 years with a major international bank in the Public Relations Department and another 10 years as a Human Resources Liaison with a major sports TV channel in Charlotte, NC. Sue is a graduate of Villa Maria College.
Tom has been with Ashton Potter since September 2016. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Empire State College. He has worked in the Education, Electronics, Construction and Printing industries throughout his career. Tom’s interests include home remodeling, reading, golf, bowling and travel.
