A recall affecting more than 40 vehicle lines in the United States covering the majority of the Toyota and Lexus models has had an additional 1.5 million vehicles added bringing the total to 5.8 million worldwide. Faulty fuel pumps have been identified as the issue causing vehicles to stall and suddenly stop operating.
